september 1.

in my book, this officially means summer is over. summer is may, june, july, august. but not september. september means leaves, chilly mornings, spectacular sunsets, football, hoodies, boots, skinny jeans, a large new bag for fall, and most of all... Pumpkin Spice Lattes!!! (PSL- get used to that acronym)

so despite saying goodbye to a rockin' good summer - today is going to be a good day! the sun is shining and i'm wearing a new pair of shoes. win/win.

i decided a good transitional OPI color this weekend will be Pink Flamenco... a darker shade of pink to leave the brights of summer and move to the darks of fall. it looks red here due to the SUN shining in our office.

and last night shopping with mom i scored some Steve Madden wedges for $7. yes, that's right folks. SEVEN freakin dollars.
